on the cards

Oh good grief! I forgot completely to tell you that I went to Finders Keepers Market on the day of 'Satur', past. Lots of cute little things were spied and I want to share one of them today.


I love a clever greeting card and I am very disappointed to see the amount of stupid, poorly designed thickened, folded paper cards marching around with exorbitant price tags pretending to be awesome when in my humble opinion: they -- are -- not!


The following collection, however, are beautiful, funny and worth their money (I made a rhyme!).
Able and Game are a Melbourne-based company and they were one of the stalls gaining a large mental tick as favourite for Finders Keepers.


The first bunch feature very clever pics of Melbourne's train stations (there are some Brissy ones too but they are bit lost on me). Personal Fav: Balaclava. Yes i am still laughing days after. Clever, right?

My dad actually looks a bit like that... except grey and not so reminiscent of Welcome Back, Kotter.
But yes dad I do think you're rad!

So I suggest, get into some forward thinking and planning - order some cards from Able and Game. Save yourself the shame of giving an ugly afterthought in envelope to someone who means more than such a sentiment would imply.
