gotta hand it to ya!

Hands are an odd thing if you think about them too hard. Thus, I suggest thinking of them fondly because like the rest of the human body, they seem to complement everything else that's going on in terms of what one's body needs to do. You know, performing menial tasks in order to survive and all that.

Hands go one step further (of course, I am aware that such a cliche relates to the end-of-leg bits... nevertheless, its use is not intended literally). Hands are a means of connection, communication, consolation and probably a good alliterative collection of other words.
They can speak for those who have no voice...
They can pat someone on the back...
They can offer abrupt feedback on one's driving abilities...

What can I say, hands are pretty... uh... handy...!?

So, when was the last time you wrote a hand-written note? Or held someone's hand? Or carried things for someone with their hands full (either literally or metaphorically)?

Why don't you consider tonight, a thumbs up to hands and a challenge to lend one to someone who might need it.

Round of applause, anyone?
